x402 endpoint checker: does this URL ask for payment?

Paste the address of an API or page. We send it one request and show whether it answers 402 Payment Required, and what payment it asks for. Read-only: no wallet, no payment.

https only, on a public domain name. Redirects are not followed.

What it does

  • Sends one GET request, the same as opening the address in a browser, with no cookies, no wallet and no payment.
  • If the answer is 402, reads the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header and shows each payment option the server lists. Older servers that put the requirements in the response body are read too.
  • Shows the status, content type and any redirect, so a "not 402" answer still tells you something.

What it will not do

  • It never pays, signs or connects a wallet, and it cannot tell you whether paying would work.
  • It refuses IP addresses, private or internal names, non-standard ports and our own site, and it limits how often anyone can use it.
  • It does not keep the addresses you check. Amounts are shown as the server states them, usually in the token's smallest unit, and are not converted or priced.
